Breast augmentation in Stockholm

This is the most established method for creating stable volume and shape. Depending on your anatomy, individual circumstances and your preferences, you and your plastic surgeon will choose the shape (round or anatomical), the profile, and whether the implant should be placed behind or in front of the pectoral muscle. We work exclusively with high-quality implants to ensure the highest possible safety and a balanced silhouette.

For those of you who are looking for a more subtle change, breast augmentation using fat may be the right option. Using a gentle technique, fat cells are removed from areas such as the stomach or thighs, purified and then strategically injected into the breasts. A natural breast augmentation using the body’s own tissue provides a very soft feel, provided you have sufficient fat deposits to begin with.

Here, we combine the precision of both techniques. A smaller implant provides the foundation for shape and projection, whilst the surgeon uses autologous fat transfer to cover the edges of the implant. The result is an exceptionally smooth transition to the chest and a natural feel, which is particularly effective for patients with thin subcutaneous tissue.

When the skin has lost much of its elasticity, simply increasing the volume is rarely enough to achieve a harmonious result. In such cases, a breast augmentation with a lift is performed to remove excess skin, reposition the nipple and, at the same time, add the fullness that is lacking.

Breast augmentation (400cc)

The patient’s goal: A woman who, following two pregnancies, had lost tissue volume and wished to restore fullness with an implant of approximately 400cc. Taking the patient’s shoulder and chest width into careful consideration, an anatomically shaped implant was selected. The skin adapted well to the volume, creating a proportionate profile that harmonised with her physique. Breast augmentation using fat

The patient’s goal: A patient who wanted a very subtle augmentation of the upper breast pole, but wished to avoid foreign materials. Using a gentle technique, fat tissue was harvested from the outer thighs. After rigorous purification, the cells were injected with high precision into the breasts, resulting in a soft contour and a completely natural breast augmentation.

Breast augmentation and lifting

The patient’s goals: A patient who was troubled by significant skin laxity and low-set nipples, but who also wanted more volume. Implants alone would have resulted in an unbalanced shape. By performing a combined procedure involving skin tightening (lift) and implants, the position of the breast was stabilised, restoring both a firmer structure and a proportionate fullness.

Tailored breast augmentation

The patient’s goal: A woman with a congenital, significant difference in size between her left and right breasts who wished to achieve a more even and balanced anatomical proportion. To compensate for the natural difference in volume, high-quality implants in two different sizes and profiles were used. Through very precise measurement of the chest and the existing tissue, the surgeon was able to balance out the asymmetry. This created a harmonious overall appearance and a more even silhouette. Medical assessment and choice of method

You will meet with your specialist surgeon, who will measure the dimensions of your chest and assess the tissue. Together, you will discuss the procedure, for example whether implants or your own body fat are best suited to your anatomy.

Preparing for a safe operation

Our coordinator will provide you with important information. Among other things, you will be required to abstain from smoking and alcohol for four weeks before and after your treatment, and to wash with chlorhexidine soap prior to your arrival.

Safe care at the clinic

Once you arrive, you will meet your surgeon for a pre-operative consultation and to have photographs taken. The procedure is then carried out under general anaesthetic in a fully sterile environment and usually takes between one and two hours to complete.

Awakening and initial rest

You will be closely monitored in the recovery ward. Your breasts will often feel tight, heavy and tender during the first 24 hours. We will ensure that your pain relief is working properly before you go home or stay overnight.

Self-care and convalescence guidelines

The initial healing phase requires rest. You will need to wear a supportive sports bra around the clock. Physical exertion and heavy lifting must be avoided for four to six weeks to allow the implants or fat to heal undisturbed.

Medical check-up and final assessment

One week after the operation, you will have a routine wound check-up with our nurse. After around six months, once the tissue has softened, you will be booked in for a final check-up with your surgeon.
