What does PRX-T33 stand for?

PRX-T33 is a scientifically developed biorevitalisation treatment designed to stimulate skin cell renewal. The patented formula consists mainly of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and hydrogen peroxide. Unlike a traditional chemical peel, which exfoliates the skin’s outermost layer, the hydrogen peroxide in PRX-T33 allows the acid to penetrate the skin’s surface without damaging it. Instead, the effect takes place deep within the dermis, resulting in powerful skin tightening from the inside out. This is known as a biorevitalisation treatment.

Our skin improvement methods

We use only scientifically proven methods to address the skin’s texture and moisture balance. Your skincare specialist will help you choose the right treatment plan.

PRX-T33 (Biorevitalisation)

This is a needle-free, patented treatment classified as a medical bio-revitalisation treatment. The serum combines TCA (trichloroacetic acid) and hydrogen peroxide to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and stimulate cell renewal, with almost none of the intense peeling associated with traditional acids.

Traditional chemical peel (TCA peel)

For patients with pronounced surface irregularities, sun damage or stubborn pigmentation, a classic chemical peel may be the most effective option. This chemical peel treatment exfoliates the top layer of skin to reveal a new, smoother surface.

Gentle approach

A fundamental principle underlying all our skin treatments, whether they involve PRX or a traditional acid, is our deep respect for the skin’s barrier and anatomy. By working with carefully balanced, medical formulations, we can, for example, use a PRX T33 treatment to deliver active substances past the skin’s outer protective layer (epidermis) directly down to the dermis. This methodical and chemically controlled approach protects the skin’s surface, makes the procedure extremely gentle, minimises recovery time and ensures that the stimulation of the body’s own collagen occurs exactly where it is most beneficial.

The Evolution of You

PRX-T33
Step by step

We have a structured and reliable process, from your initial consultation right through to the final follow-up, so that you always know what to expect.

Consultation

Medical assessment and choice of method

You’ll start by meeting a specialist who will assess your skin’s needs and go through your health declaration. Together, you’ll discuss whether a PRX treatment or a traditional chemical peel is the most suitable option.

Before your treatment

Preparing for a safe operation

You should stop using any strong exfoliating products (such as retinol or AHAs) for a few days before your appointment. Unlike an unpredictable at-home chemical peel, we prepare your skin clinically in-clinic to ensure optimal absorption.

The day of treatment

Safe care at the clinic

The skin is thoroughly cleansed. During a prx t33 treatment, the patented serum is applied and massaged into the skin using a specific, firm pressure. This is done layer by layer until the tissue is fully saturated, which takes around 30 minutes.

After treatment

Awakening and initial rest

The reaction depends on the method used. After PRX, most people experience only mild and temporary redness. If you have had a deeper TCA peel, your skin may feel tight and darken before it starts to peel. We always apply soothing and moisturising skincare products before you go home.

Recovery & healing

Self-care and convalescence guidelines

As part of a PRX treatment, you will be given specific home care products designed to maintain your skin’s pH balance and maximise cell renewal. Whichever method you choose, it is absolutely essential that you avoid direct sunlight and always wear a high SPF when outdoors.

Monitoring & results

Medical check-up and final assessment

A biorevitalisation treatment is usually carried out as a course of treatments to achieve the best physiological results. Once the course is complete, we will book a final assessment so that we can review the skin’s new texture, tone and elasticity together.

Our specialists

When you visit us, you will be looked after by qualified skin therapists with extensive clinical experience. Working with potent chemical formulations requires a keen understanding of the skin’s various layers. Their in-depth knowledge of how acids and hydrogen peroxide interact with cells is your best guarantee of a medically safe and anatomically correct treatment.

Who is suitable for a peel or biorevitalisation treatment?

To undergo our treatments, you must be over 18 and in good health. Biorevitalisation (PRX-T33) is suitable for the vast majority of skin types and skin tones. If you suffer from active acne, rosacea in flare-ups, ongoing infections (such as herpes) or have open wounds on your face, we recommend postponing the treatment. We also do not perform any of these procedures on patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Risks and complications

All treatments that stimulate the skin carry certain risks. With PRX-T33, the common reactions are completely harmless: temporary redness, a stinging sensation, and some dryness or slight flaking in the days following the treatment (PRX-T33 side effects). With a deep traditional peel, there is an increased risk of temporary hyperpigmentation and, in rare cases, infection if aftercare is neglected. We strongly advise against experimenting with strong chemical peels at home, as this carries a very high risk of burns and permanent scarring.

Other treatments

We offer a comprehensive range of aesthetic treatments. If your primary aim is to restore lost volume from within, hyaluronic acid injections, such as Profhilo or Skinbooster, are an excellent complement to biorevitalisation. Should your skin be suffering from a significant loss of elasticity, our plastic surgery specialists can advise you on surgical options.

Why consider PRX treatment or a chemical peel?

The reasons for wanting to undergo a facial peel treatment are highly personal. Many people are looking for a way to even out their skin tone, reduce the appearance of superficial pigmentation spots, or boost the skin’s radiance and elasticity when it feels dull. Some opt for a traditional, exfoliating chemical peel, whilst others look for a needle-free treatment, such as PRX-T33, to achieve a deep-acting effect without the flaking that acids sometimes cause. We do not judge your goals. Our focus is on using a clinical skin analysis to guide you towards the technology that best suits your individual needs.

Frequently asked questions about the PRX-T33 and chemical peels

Frequently asked questions and answers about the PRX-T33 and chemical peels

What exactly is PRX T33 treatment?

It is a deep-acting, needle-free treatment that is massaged into the skin. The hydrogen peroxide protects the skin’s surface whilst the TCA acid penetrates deeply to stimulate collagen production. It also contains kojic acid, which is known for brightening the skin and evening out pigmentation. The result is moisturised, firmer skin with a radiant glow.

How often should you use a PRX-T33? (prx-t33 how often)

To achieve lasting and optimal results in the skin’s texture, we generally recommend a course of three to five treatments, spaced approximately one to two weeks apart (prx t33 how often). After that, a single maintenance treatment every six months is usually sufficient to preserve the skin’s firmness and radiance.

Can a chemical peel remove pigmentation spots?

Yes. Both a targeted TCA peel and PRX-T33 are highly effective methods for evening out skin tone and reducing the appearance of pigmentation marks caused by chemical peels. The kojic acid in PRX is specifically added to inhibit melanin production and brighten the skin.

Is it safe to do a chemical peel at home?

We strongly advise against purchasing and applying medical-grade acids or chemical peels at home. Working with chemicals on the skin requires precise knowledge of the skin’s barrier function, the correct application time and neutralisation. Incorrect handling at home can lead to serious burns, infections and permanent pigmentation changes or scarring.

Does a PRX treatment hurt?

No, the procedure is generally considered to be very comfortable. You may feel a tingling, slightly warm or mildly stinging sensation as the liquid is massaged in with pressure, but it is rarely described as painful.

Can I have a PRX treatment or a chemical peel in the summer?

A traditional, exfoliating chemical peel makes the skin extremely sensitive to the sun and should definitely be avoided during the sunniest months of the year to prevent the risk of hyperpigmentation. PRX-T33, on the other hand, does not damage the skin’s surface (it is non-photosensitising) and can therefore be safely performed all year round, provided you are careful to use a high SPF sunscreen when outdoors.
