Classic Profhilo
This method has been developed primarily to improve the overall quality of the skin. It stimulates collagen and provides a deep hydration boost without affecting the deeper fat layers. It is ideal for the entire face, but can also be tailored for specific areas such as the neck (Profhilo neck) or the sensitive area around the eyes (Profhilo eyes).
Skin booster for the neck and décolletage
A gentle moisturising treatment containing a lighter form of hyaluronic acid that smooths out fine lines on the skin’s surface. It helps the skin retain moisture over the long term and is highly effective as a neck skin booster.

Pre-treatment consultation
The first step is a consultation with one of our injection specialists, either online or in person at the clinic. During the consultation, you will receive medical information about the treatments, any potential risks and an analysis of your skin condition. We will then provide you with a personalised treatment plan.
After the consultation, you have a statutory cooling-off period of at least 48 hours (which applies to aesthetic injection treatments) to allow you to decide in your own time whether you wish to give your consent.

Medical assessment and choice of method
Your practitioner will carry out a clinical assessment of the distribution of your fat deposits and discuss your expectations. We will carefully review your health declaration to ensure the highest level of safety.
Preparations
Preparations for safe treatment
To reduce the risk of bruising, you should stop taking blood-thinning medication and supplements such as omega-3 a few days beforehand. Before the injection, your skin will be disinfected with chlorhexidine to ensure a sterile working area.

Safe care at the clinic
Structura is often injected using a blunt cannula. This means fewer injections and allows the product to be gently distributed along specific anatomical lines within the facial fat layer. The procedure itself usually takes around 10 minutes.
Recovery & healing
Self-care and convalescence guidelines
Do not touch the injection sites with unwashed hands and avoid wearing make-up for the first 12 hours. To minimise swelling, you should also avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and extreme cold for the next 48 hours.
Monitoring & results
Medical check-up and final assessment
For optimal tissue integration and skin tightening, we usually recommend a course of two sessions, spaced approximately 30 days apart. We are happy to book a follow-up appointment to assess the final result and ensure that the healing process has progressed as it should.

Any previous procedures or medical conditions will be discussed in detail during the consultation.

What is the difference between Profhilo Structura and Profhilo?
The main difference lies in the depth and purpose. Classic Profhilo is injected more superficially to rehydrate and stimulate collagen in the skin itself. Structura is formulated to be injected deeper, straight into the facial fat pads, to tighten and lift the facial contours.
How often should the treatment be carried out?
For best results, a course of two treatments, one month apart, is almost always recommended. After that, a maintenance treatment can be carried out approximately every nine to twelve months.
What is the difference between Sculptra and Juvéderm compared to Profhilo?
Both tighten the skin, but using different active ingredients. Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid, which gradually stimulates the body’s own collagen production to increase volume. Structura uses hyaluronic acid to tighten existing fat pads and restore support to the face.
Does the treatment hurt?
As Structura is usually injected using a blunt cannula, fewer punctures through the skin are required, which many patients find less painful than traditional needle injections. If necessary, we will of course provide a topical anaesthetic cream before we begin.
How much does Profhilo Structura cost?
The price is SEK 5,200 for a single treatment. To achieve the best possible tissue integration and skin tightening, we generally recommend a basic course of two sessions. For this course, we offer a package price of SEK 8,800.
Can you treat dark circles under the eyes?
Profhilo Structura is primarily intended for the larger fat pads of the face, such as the cheeks and jawline. For the sensitive area under the eyes (Profhilo under the eyes / Profhilo eyes), our experts often recommend a thinner skin booster or tear trough treatment that is specifically tailored to that particular anatomy.
