Your journey begins with a thorough consultation with one of our specialists. We will analyse your scalp or facial skin, assess your blood circulation and discuss your medical history. You will receive factual information about the procedure, how the plasma works and what expectations are realistic.
After the consultation, you have a statutory cooling-off period of at least 48 hours (which applies to aesthetic injection treatments) to allow you to decide in your own time whether you wish to give your consent.

Preparations for safe treatment
Please do not take any fever-reducing or blood-thinning medication in the days leading up to your appointment, as this can impair platelet function. Please make sure your hair is freshly washed if you are having a scalp treatment.

Safe care at the clinic
We start by taking a small, standard blood sample from the crook of the arm. This blood is then placed in a specially designed centrifuge for around 10 minutes. The machine separates the nutrient-rich plasma from the red blood cells.

Whether it’s a facial or a hair treatment, it’s normal to experience slight redness and tenderness immediately afterwards. Avoid washing your hair, wearing a tight-fitting cap or hat, applying make-up or doing any strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours to allow the plasma to work undisturbed.

To achieve a noticeable result, a course of three to four treatments at four-week intervals is almost always required. We schedule regular follow-up appointments to monitor the progress of the tissue.

You must be at least 18 years old, in good health and have realistic expectations. A PRP treatment for hair loss only works if you still have viable, dormant hair follicles remaining. For medical safety reasons, we do not treat patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active infections in the area or suffer from specific blood disorders. All of this will be discussed in detail during your first visit.

A PRP treatment costs SEK 4,000 per session and is usually carried out as a course of treatment. A hair transplant is a more extensive surgical procedure that costs considerably more. The exact cost of a hair transplant is determined by the number of hair follicles to be transplanted.
Does PRP treatment work for hair loss?
Yes, scientific studies show that growth factors in plasma can stimulate hair follicles to transition from the resting phase back to the growth phase. The main prerequisite, however, is that there are still viable hair follicles left for the plasma to stimulate.
Does a vampire treatment or PRP for the hair hurt?
The experience of pain varies from person to person. The skin on the scalp is thin and taut, which means you can feel the pricks, but the procedure is over quickly and is well tolerated by the vast majority of people. For PRP treatment on the face, we always offer a topical anaesthetic cream beforehand.
When will I see the results of the treatment?
Cell renewal takes time. Visible results from PRP treatment for the hair or the face usually become apparent no sooner than three to four months after the course of treatment has begun, by which time the hair has had time to grow and the skin has produced new collagen.
How many treatments are needed?

Is there blood on the scalp afterwards?
