What do cosmetic and medical tattoos involve?

Cosmetic and medical tattooing (permanent make-up) is a collective term for specialised pigmentation techniques. Using digital machines and sterile microneedles, colour pigments are deposited very superficially in the upper layers of the skin to frame the eyes, define contours or camouflage scar tissue.

These methods differ physiologically from conventional body tattoos, as the pigments are biodegradable. The final result is entirely determined by the natural cell renewal of the mucous membranes and skin.

In the field of micropigmentation, we offer bespoke and advanced procedures for both the face and body. Our range includes aesthetic treatments such as permanent eyeliner to define the lash line, as well as micropigmentation for lips and eyebrows. Each individual method is tailored to your physiological conditions and skin texture to achieve a natural-looking result.
In addition to cosmetic applications, our specialists perform medical tattooing to reconstruct or correct specific areas. This includes tattooing the areola following breast surgery, as well as pigmentation to reduce and even out prominent scars around the areola. Prior to each course of treatment, a thorough clinical analysis is carried out to assess the condition of the tissue and the skin’s unique undertone.

Why get a cosmetic or medical tattoo?

The reasons for choosing permanent make-up are highly personal and stem from practical or physiological needs. Many patients choose to undergo cosmetic tattooing of the eyeliner or lips for their own well-being, for example to make daily routines easier in cases of impaired vision or to restore contours following breast cancer surgery. The aim is to restore an anatomical and harmonious balance.

Consultation on cosmetic and medical tattooing

The first step is a personal consultation with one of our specialists at our clinic in Stockholm or via a video call. We carry out a clinical examination of your skin type, analyse the elasticity of the tissue and carefully review your health declaration. You will receive factual information about the process, the properties of the colour pigments and important aftercare advice.

After the meeting, you have a statutory cooling-off period of at least 48 hours to consider the information at your leisure before giving your consent.

Security
& warranties

For your safety and peace of mind, you are always covered by patient insurance throughout your time with us. We also apply clear and transparent terms and conditions regarding the warranty period and follow-up, tailored entirely to the specific method chosen during your consultation.

Financing & Instalment Plans

As an alternative to direct payment, there are options for payment in instalments via external credit providers. This is presented entirely separately from medical assessments. During your consultation, you will be given a clear quote before your statutory cooling-off period begins.

Transparency & expectations

As every body has unique anatomical characteristics, all results are individual. During your consultation, we focus on medical facts and objective reference images to provide a realistic picture. We explain the healing process and risks before you give your consent.
